About the Site
A short story--it'll make you laugh, cry, or possibly even disturbed and/or disgusted. Enjoy!
Ambrosial Designs was created on March 12, 2005 with the collaboration of a few close friends and was hosted by the cool Maron. It was meant to be a small graphics site with the purpose of fulfilling the needs and desires of its contributors when boredom happened to strike them. Incredibly enough, the site began to grow and visitors (we thought the only visitors were ourselves) were coming and going. At its peak of "stardom" (as if), the owner decided to go solo with the site--hoping the popularity would decrease for she wanted her small and personal designing site back.
It was a brand new start for the site as the owner replaced her staff's graphics with her own [and less desirable] ones. Astonishingly enough, the site continued to grow by itself... The owner honestly could care less because she was happy with the numerous friends she was making. One fateful Christmas week in 2006, one of the owner's close friends, Vicky/Sakuya Kira, kindly purchased AD's very own domain name! The owner was immensely thrilled for the domain also came with a very generous and kind host Megori. Needless to say, it was a wonderful year.
Tragedy struck as the owner's computer crashed one day and all of her files went with it. AD was gone. Well, for about six months anyway. Contemplating profusely over the passing months, the owner finally decided to return and in the summer of July 2006--AD was back. It was a bittersweet return for numerous reasons but with the help of her affiliates/friends, the owner managed to brush it off and kept her [already-faded] optimism. Admist the year 2007, the people of higher education (college) hypnotized the owner for about a year and the site was left to rot. However, the owner managed to break out of their spell (she finally settled down) but alas, the domain had expired. On the lookout for hosts, the awesome Cat offered to host AD. A miracle! Fast-forward to the present, AD and its owner were back... And with a vengeance (not really)!
